DeShaun Dupree "Proof" Holton, a prominent rapper from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically killed on April 11, 2006, at the age of 32. Proof, a member of the rap group D12 and a close friend of Eminem, was involved in a fatal altercation at the CCC Club on 8 Mile Road in Detroit.
