Death by Force

On June 29, 2024, at approximately 12:54 a.m., 24-year-old Lance Avery was fatally shot near the intersection of Third Street and Gladstone Avenue in Detroit. Responding officers found Avery in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds; he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
