In the late hours of a summer night in Detroit, a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal encounter that ended the life of 38-year-old Cory Jackson. The events of August 14, 2020, were precipitated by an argument between Jackson and his longtime girlfriend. According to the girlfriend, Jackson had been drinking and became angry.
