Larry Lovette Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 11, 2013, in Oakland, California. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Canon Avenue near Wellington Street, close to Dimond Park, shortly before 3:00 p.m. Lovette Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. His murder remains unsolved, and Oakland police continue to seek information from the public to identify those responsible for his death.
