Damon Lee Smith, a 36-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically killed on February 12, 2014. He was a victim of a shooting that occurred in Oakland's Fruitvale district, along the 3700 block of International Boulevard. Smith was among several people targeted when an unknown assailant walked up and opened fire. The incident left Smith dead and three others injured.
