On May 22, 2024, 16-year-old Elijah Reese was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred near the intersection of East Warren Avenue and Cadillac Boulevard on the city's east side. Emergency responders transported Reese to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
