On the evening of April 11, 2022, a violent encounter in Detroit led to the tragic death of 25-year-old Jason Cowins, a male resident of the city. At approximately 8:41 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night, and police were dispatched to a fire station located in the 6320 block of West Chicago Street following reports of a shooting.
