Rakheem Atkins, a 26-year-old resident of suburban West Palm Beach, Florida, was tragically shot and killed on July 24, 2016. The incident occurred late at night on South B Street in Lake Worth Beach. Atkins was initially taken to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis with gunshot wounds and was later transferred to Delray Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries early the next day.
