Rakheem Atkins, a 26-year-old resident of suburban West Palm Beach, Florida, was tragically shot and killed on July 24, 2016. The incident occurred late at night on South B Street in Lake Worth Beach. Atkins was initially taken to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis with gunshot wounds and was later transferred to Delray Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries early the next day. His death marked the 41st homicide in Palm Beach County for the year 2016, and the 33rd resulting from a shooti ...
