Dewayne J. Williams Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 27, 2020, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The incident occurred on the 700 block of Seventh Street, near Sapodilla Avenue, just before 6 p.m. The West Palm Beach police were alerted to the shooting by the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found Dewayne J. Williams Jr. deceased at the scene.
