Brandion Keith Clemons, a 29-year-old African American man from Dayton, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on November 2, 2019. Clemons was at an unlicensed bar in the 3900 block of West Third Street when he was shot around 3:40 a.m. A 911 caller reported seeing Clemons on the ground after he was shot, but did not see the shooters. The Dayton Police Department Homicide Unit launched an investigation into his death, and police were searching for three armed suspects who fled the scene.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office completed Clemons’ autopsy over the weekend, but details have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward. The Dayton Police Department and Miami Valley Crime Stoppers have both been involved in the search for suspects and witnesses.
Clemons was remembered as a loving father, family protector, and loyal friend. He is survived by his mother Lolita Clemons, father Brandon Walder, grandmother Barbara Story, children Avion, Airreyon, and Nadia, as well as numerous siblings, uncles, aunts, and friends. His death has left a significant impact on his family and community, who continue to seek justice for his untimely passing.
