On August 1, 2021, Jackson was diligently working, rehabbing a house in the 10000 block of Morley Street, near Wyoming and West Chicago. At approximately 1:24 p.m., the sounds of his labor were pierced by gunfire. An unknown individual inside a white Chrysler Town & Country minivan fired the shots that ended Jackson's life, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and
loved him.
A father with a passion for home remodeling, Jackson was remembered for his love of food, fashion, and most importantly, his family. His mother, Felicia Jackson, has been a vocal advocate for justice for her son, expressing the profound heartbreak and frustration that comes with an unsolved murder. The impact of his sudden and violent death has been deeply felt by his children and loved ones, who continue to grapple with the senseless loss.
In the wake of the shooting, an investigation was launched, but the case has grown cold.
