In the summer of 2015, on the evening of July 5th, the life of 25-year-old Kelcay Anthony Humphrey was cut short in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He was walking at the Cloverdale apartment complex on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when an assailant approached him from behind and fired multiple shots into his back. Despite being rushed to a local medical center, Humphrey succumbed to his injuries.
