James White, a 35-year-old patrol officer from Brookhaven, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 29, 2018. Officer White, along with his colleague, Corporal Zach Moak, responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in Brookhaven around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, both officers were met with gunfire.
