In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Ernest Sene, a 27-year-old male, was outside his residence in the Albany Houses on January 6, 2016, when violence erupted. At approximately 8:20 a.m., Sene was struck by a bullet to his chest. The force of the impact was devastating, and though he was rushed to Kings County Hospital, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
