Death by Force

On July 4, 2024, at approximately 1:58 p.m., 22-year-old Brooklyn resident Kaylon Baugh was fatally shot near 2126 Dorchester Road in the Flatbush neighborhood. Responding to a 911 call, officers from the 70th Precinct found Baugh conscious and alert, suffering from a gunshot wound to his groin. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Kings County Hospital, where his condition deteriorated, and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
