In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Brooklyn, New York, a life full of aspiring musical dreams was abruptly cut short. Luis Caballero, a 22-year-old man known in the local rap scene as 'Lu Blixky,' was fatally shot on October 18, 2020. Caballero was at a party near the intersection of Watkins Street and
Livonia Avenue when a dispute escalated into violence. In the ensuing confrontation, he was struck by multiple bullets, sustaining injuries to his torso, arm, and leg. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, and he was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life.
