William Fernandez, a 33-year-old father of four, was tragically shot and killed in Brooklyn, New York, on June 17, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of Father's Day, just before Fernandez was set to spend the day with his children. The shooting took place at the intersection of Bushwick Avenue and Beaver Street in Bushwick. Fernandez was shot multiple times and managed to run two blocks before collapsing. He was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
