In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Brooklyn, New York, the life of 26-year-old Carnell Victor was tragically cut short. On July 22, 2017, at approximately 2:10 a.m., a knock at his apartment door in the Farragut Houses on Bridge Street prompted him to answer. What awaited him on the other side was not a friendly visitor, but a fatal encounter. A single gunshot to the neck ended his life, leaving a community in shock and a family to grieve.
