In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Brooklyn, the life of 22-year-old Roshad Twells was tragically cut short. On October 3, 2021, at approximately 1:02 a.m., Twells was in front of the Albany Houses on Troy Avenue when gunfire erupted. Officers from the 77th precinct responded to a call of a man shot, where they discovered Twells unconscious with gunshot wounds to his chest.
