On a late Wednesday night in May 2017, the life of 29-year-old Cordell Pittman, a male resident of Brooklyn, New York, was tragically cut short by a sudden burst of gunfire. The incident unfolded behind the New York City Housing Authority's Bushwick Houses on Moore Street, a place familiar to Pittman.
