Cordell Pittman, a 29-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2017. The incident occurred late at night behind the Bushwick Houses on Moore Street, where Pittman was socializing with a group of six others. A gunman, described as wearing a hoodie, approached the group and opened fire. Pittman was struck seven times in the chest and legs.
