Kerwin James, a 25-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on December 20, 2021. The incident occurred in the Brownsville neighborhood, specifically at the intersection of Newport and Bristol Streets. According to reports, James was shot multiple times in the chest around 6:35 p.m. He was found collapsed outside the Gethsemane Baptist Church of Deliverance. Despite being rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
