In the borough of Brooklyn, a construction worker's life was cut short on a November evening in 2022. Peter George, a 38-year-old Black man, was on a residential street in East Flatbush when he was fatally shot in the chest. The incident occurred around 7:12 p.m. on November 20th, along East 51st Street near Linden Boulevard. First responders rushed George to Brookdale Hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
