Timothy Stansbury Jr., a 19-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on January 24, 2004. Stansbury was shot and killed by New York Police Department Officer Richard S. Neri Jr. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on the rooftop of the Louis Armstrong Houses, a housing project in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
