William Serrano, a 32-year-old man, tragically lost his life on March 17, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York. His death was the result of a violent encounter with the notorious DeMeo Crew, a faction of the Gambino crime family. Serrano, along with Charles Padnick and two unidentified associates, had traveled to New York to negotiate a significant cocaine deal with members of the crime crew.
