In the quiet neighborhood of Fort Greene, Brooklyn, a sense of unease settled over the community in May of 2016. It was here that Sydney Bragg, an 84-year-old man, lived a life that would come to a tragic and violent end. On Friday, May 13th, a home health aide arrived at Bragg's apartment on North Portland Avenue for a routine visit, but instead of a familiar greeting, she was met with a scene of horror. Bragg was discovered in his bed, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
