Roy Albert DeMeo, a notorious mobster affiliated with the Gambino crime family, was found dead on January 10, 1983, at the age of 42. DeMeo's body was discovered in the trunk of his car, parked in a Brooklyn parking lot. He had been shot multiple times, and his body was frozen, indicating that he had been killed some time before the discovery.
