A tragic sequence of events unfolded on a November evening in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, leading to the untimely death of 26-year-old Gustavo Devora Acevedo. On November 17, 2023, both Gustavo and his mother, 43-year-old Rosa Acevedo, were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds inside their residence on Louisiana Avenue.
