Jamere Jones, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn, NY, tragically lost his life after being shot on October 15, 2021. The incident occurred around 10:05 p.m. near his apartment in the Bay View Houses on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie. Jones was walking to a store when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been hit in the back.
