Tysheem Ceruti, 27, was shot to death just after midnight on September 7, 2021, in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. In the still hours around 12:30 a.m., gunfire erupted on Putnam Avenue outside a multi-family residence; when officers arrived, they found him suffering multiple wounds to the groin, arm, and chest. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but he died a short time later.
