Jamel Copeland, a 32-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on August 15, 2020. The incident occurred early in the morning near the corner of E. 39th St. and Avenue D in East Flatbush. Copeland was found mortally wounded at the scene and was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
