In the spring of 2022, on the evening of May 25th, tragedy struck in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn when 38-year-old Sean Mingo was fatally shot. The violent encounter unfolded inside a second-floor apartment situated above a closed pharmacy on Clarkson Avenue near Utica Avenue. When police arrived at the scene shortly after 6:50 p.m., they discovered Mingo with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
