In the early hours of a Sunday in August 2021, the life of 26-year-old Kelvin Mussonguela was tragically cut short on a street corner in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Mussonguela, a male of South African and Angolan descent, was found shot at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Sterling Place, less than a block from his home.
