In the early moments of an April morning, the life of 17-year-old Jaden Brown was tragically cut short in Brooklyn, New York. Just after midnight on April 23, 2021, police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting behind the Bayview Houses on East 102nd Street in Canarsie. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jaden with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. Paramedics rushed the young man to Brookdale Hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
