On a grim early morning in Brooklyn, New York, the life of 29-year-old Shaquil Dunbar was violently cut short. The male victim was attending a celebration at a catering hall on Glenwood Road near East 45th Street in the Flatlands neighborhood on June 10, 2023. At approximately 4:20 a.m., the festive atmosphere was shattered by the sound of a gunshot.
