On June 10, 2023, at approximately 4:15 a.m., 29-year-old Shaquil Dunbar was fatally shot in the head while attending a celebration at K&L Manor, a catering hall located on Glenwood Road near East 45th Street in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
