A 22-year-old man, Rasard Deas, tragically lost his life in a brazen afternoon shooting in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn on May 25, 2022. The incident unfolded around 4 p.m. outside the First Cook Restaurant, situated at the intersection of Stillwell Avenue and Avenue X.
