Hamler Cabrera-De Jesus, a 21-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2018, in a shooting incident at the Bushwick Playground. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when a fight broke out among a group of men at the playground. During the altercation, gunfire erupted, and Cabrera-De Jesus was shot in the back.
