In the early hours of a November morning in 2013, the life of Soroush Farazmand, a 27-year-old Iranian male musician, was tragically cut short in his Brooklyn, New York residence. Farazmand was a guitarist for the indie rock band The Yellow Dogs, a group that had moved from Tehran to the United States to freely pursue their musical aspirations.
