On April 14, 2021, Holly Jo Dunn, 35, was killed in a tragic hit-and-run incident in Bessemer, Alabama. The accident occurred around 4:14 a.m. on the 1100 block of 9th Avenue SW while Dunn was walking as a pedestrian. The driver, later identified as 29-year-old Nicolette Amber Clinkscales, allegedly struck Dunn with her vehicle and fled the scene.
