In the early morning hours of a Wednesday in April 14, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Holly Jo Dunn was tragically cut short in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident unfolded just before 4 a.m. in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SW, where Dunn was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified Dunn as the victim of this fatal event.
Following the incident, the Bessemer Police Department launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Their efforts led to an arrest in connection with the case.
