Oshea Barnes, a 25-year-old resident of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on the night of May 5, 2020. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Bergen Street near New York Avenue, just a short distance from his home. Barnes was confronted by two men who shot him in the chest before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to Kings County Hospital, Barnes succumbed to his injuries.
