Michael Matusiak, a 53-year-old sheet metal worker from Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2015. The incident occurred in East Williamsburg, where Matusiak worked at the ABNY sheet metal shop. On that fateful morning, Matusiak confronted Bryan Aponte, a 22-year-old man who was breaking into cars near the corner of Grattan Street and Knickerbocker Avenue.
