Roger Allen Goodlet, a 33-year-old white male, was reported missing on July 22, 1994. His disappearance was part of a series of mysterious vanishings of gay men in the Indianapolis area during the early 1990s. Goodlet's body was later discovered on the property of Herbert Richard Baumeister, a suspected serial killer. Baumeister, a well-to-do businessman, was under investigation for the murders of over a dozen men, most of whom were last seen at gay bars in Indianapolis.
