Richard May Jr., aged 34, tragically lost his life on September 11, 2015, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was fatally shot at the Battlefield Inn motel, located at 4137 N. Frontage Road. The incident occurred around 9:11 p.m., and it was reported that May died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The exact location and number of shots were not immediately clear, pending an autopsy.
