In the late hours of a Tuesday in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the life of 45-year-old Shandrick Montgomery was tragically cut short. On May 28, 2024, at approximately 11:14 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Locust Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Montgomery lying in the street, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
