LaVell Whittley Jr., a 16-year-old from Natchez, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on April 6, 2018. LaVell, affectionately known as "LJ" by his family and friends, was a sophomore at Natchez High School and a member of the Greater Mount Bethel Baptist Church. He was passionate about sports, particularly football, and was known for wearing his blue and white Natchez Bulldog jersey.
