Nicholas Brent "Nicky" Corwin, an eight-year-old boy, was tragically killed on May 20, 1988, in Winnetka, Illinois. Nicky, a young Caucasian male, was a student at Hubbard Woods Elementary School. On that fateful day, Laurie Dann, a woman with a history of mental health issues, entered the school and opened fire, fatally shooting Nicky.
