John Thomas Martin, aged 48, tragically passed away on January 26, 2018, in Natchez, Mississippi. His death was the result of a gunshot wound to the chest. On the evening of January 26, deputies were dispatched to 12 Woodman Road in response to a reported gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they found Martin lying on the ground outside a residence with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite being transported to Merit Health Hospital-Natchez, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
