Martez Brown, an 18-year-old from Natchez, Mississippi, was tragically shot to death in the early hours of July 8, 2018. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 300 Block of Dumas Drive. Emergency responders transported Brown to Merit Health Natchez, where he was pronounced dead at 3:45 a.m. Adams County Coroner James Lee confirmed that Brown had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
