In the quiet early morning hours of Sunday, December 2, 2018, the life of 40-year-old Roderick D. McKnight of Natchez, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. An apparent altercation at a social gathering in the Cannonsburg community of Jefferson County escalated to violence, ending with McKnight suffering a fatal gunshot wound.
