Scottie Rodgers, a 23-year-old from Natchez, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 4, 2019, due to a shooting incident. The events unfolded late at night when Rodgers and another individual, Curleesia Knight, arrived at the Merit Health emergency room with gunshot wounds. Rodgers was pronounced dead at the scene, while Knight was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for further treatment.
