Jason Haley, a 34-year-old volunteer firefighter from Natchez, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on March 1, 2019. Haley, along with his fellow firefighter Troy Whittington, was shot to death in what authorities described as a domestic violence situation. The incident occurred at a residence on Quasar Street, just off U.S. 61 North, where Haley and Whittington were present to support a friend, Ashley Beach, who was the estranged wife of the shooter, Jonathan Beach.
